Abstract

Macroeconomic factor is one of the important indicators to be considered by an investor in conducting stock trading activity in a country. The state of the economy and the fluctuation of macro variables within a country may influenced the stock price, including the stock price in the property sector. This research aims to examine the influence of inflation, interest rate, Rupiah exchange rate, and stock trading volume on the stock price of the Property Sector which listed on the BEI partially. The population in this research is obtained by using purposive sampling method at property sector companies which listed in Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) during 2012-2015 period based on predetermined criteria. Then obtained a sample of 20 companies in the property sector. The analysis method used is multiple linear regression analysis using SPSS (Statistical Product and Service Solutions) application tool. The results showed that inflation did not have a significant and negative influence on stock prices of the Property sector which listed in the Stock Exchange. Interest rates, have a significant and negative influence on stock prices of the Property sector which listed in the Stock Exchange. The exchange rate of Rupiah has a significant and negative influence on the stock price of the Property sector which listed in the Stock Exchange. The volume of trading has a significant positive influence on the stock price of the Property sector which listed in the Stock Exchange
