Abstract

This research is meant to find out the influence of transformational leadership style and work motivation to the
performance of the employees at KSP Mitra Sejahtera. The samples are 35 employees who have been selected as
respondents. The data is the primary and the secondary data. The analysis technique has been done by using
multiple linear regressions. The result of the first hypothesis test shows that the transformational leadership
style has significant influence to the performance of the employees; it shows that when the leadership style is
right, the performance of the employees will increase. In the second hypothesis test, it shows that work
motivation has significant influence to the performance of the employees; it shows that work motivation is
sufficient to increase of performance of the employees. Based on the result analysis, it can be concluded that in
order to improve work in the future, it is related to motivation, transformational leadership style, and the
performance of the employees. The next researcher is suggested to do the research outside the variables which
have been applied in this research such as organization commitment, labor discipline, job satisfaction, individual
characteristic and job environment.
