PENGARUH PROFITABILITAS, LIKUIDITAS, DAN LEVERAGE TERHADAP NILAI PERUSAHAAN DENGAN UKURAN PERUSAHAAN SEBAGAI VARIABEL MODERASI

Abstract

This research aims to determine the effect of profitability, liquidity, and leverage on the firm value of Food and Beverage companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX), with company size as a moderating variable. The independent variables were profitability was referred to as Return On Assets (ROA), liquidity was referred to as Current Ratio (CR), and leverage was referred to as Debt to Equity Ratio (DER). Meanwhile, the dependent variables were firm value referred to as Price to Book Value (PBV), and a moderating variable was firm size referred to as natura logarithm (Ln) Total Asset. The study applies quantitatively. Furthermore, the data collection technique used purposive sampling. In line with that, 46 samples were gained during 3 years (2021-2023). In total, there were 138 data were analyzed. The research used secondary data. Moreover, the data analysis technique used multiple linear regression with SPSS 25. The result indicates that both profitability and leverage have a positive effect on firm value. However, liquidity does not affect firm value. In addition, firm size can moderate the effect of profitability, liquidity, and leverage on firm value.
