PENGARUH ROE, NPM, DAN EPS TERHADAP HARGA SAHAM PERUSAHAAN FOOD AND BEVERAGES DI BEI

Abstract

Stock price depend on the supply and demand of stock price it self. While, the more people buy stock, the higher the stock price would be. Meanwhile, vice versa, the more people sell stock, the lower the stock price would be. Therefore, the research aimed to examine the effect of Return On Equity, Net Profit Margin, and Earningn Per Share on the stock price of Food and Ceverages companies which were listed on Indonesia Stock Exchange 2016-2018. The population was 12 Food and Beverages companies on Indonesia Stock Exchange 2016-2018. Moreover, the data were secondary which taken from Indonesia Stock Exchange and Galerry of Stock Exchange STIESIA Surabaya. Furthemore, the data analysis technique used multiple linear regression with SPSS 20. The research result concluded ROE had signifikant effect on the stock price. This showed how success the managemen in maximizig the capital return for shareholder. In contrast, NPM had insignificant effect on the stock price since it could not describe yield which was obtained by investors as stock yield. On the other hand, EPS had signifikant effect on the stock price. It happened as higher EPS showed the company had its performance in distributing the income on the shareholder.
