PENGARUH EARNINGS MANAGEMENT, KEBIJAKAN DIVIDEN, LEVERAGE, DAN TAX AMNESTY TERHADAP RETURN SAHAM
Abstract
This research aims to examine the influence of earnings management, dividend policy, company
leverage, and tax amnesty on the stock returns. The population of this research was obtained by using
purposive sampling method in real estate and building contruction property firms which is listed in
Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) during 2015-2016 period. The sample are 25 real estate and building
construction companies. The results showed that the earnings management, dividend policy, and
leverage have no significant influence on stock returns meaning earnings management is not a
consideration for the investors. The dividend payout is irrelevant because investors prefer to receive
capital gains, and investors are more likely to see how much a company's earnings than the capital
earned from the company to invest. While tax amnesty has a positive and significant influence on
stock return means investor confidence will increase along with tax amnesty program which can
increase return because of the number of investors to invest.
