Abstract

This research axamines the effect of Capital Adequacy Ratio (CAR), Loan to Depeosit Ratio (LDR), and bank size on Non-Performing Loan (NPL) at general bank Listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX). The research applies quantitatively. The population consists of conventional general banking listed on the IDX during 2021-2023. Furthermore, the data collection techniquw used purposive sampling, in which the sample was based on the criteria given. In line with that, thare were30 compinies from 43 conventional general banking as a sample. Moreover, the data were taken for 3 years. Therefore, 90 observation datawere collected. The data analysis technique used multiple linier regression. The result shows that Capital Adequacy Ratio (CAR) has a negative effect on Non Performing Loan (NPL). However, Loan to Deposit Ratio (LDR) has a positive effect Non Performing Loan (NPL). In contrast, bank Size did not affect Non Performing Loan (NPL)
