PENGARUH PROFITABILITAS, LIKUIDITAS, SOLVABILITAS, DAN UKURAN PERUSAHAAN TERHADAP NILAI PERUSAHAAN

Abstract

This research aims to examine the effect of profitability that is measured by return on asset, liquidity which is measured by current ratio, and solvability that is measured by debt to equity ratio and the firm size which is measured by Size; on the firm value of food and beverage companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX). The firm value was measured by price book value (PBV). The research applies quantitatively. Furthermore, the population consists of 61 food and beverage companies listed on IDX from 2020-2023. The data collection technique used purposive sampling, in which the sample was based on the criteria given. In line with that, there were 31 companies as a sample. Moreover, the data analysis technique used multiple linear regression with SPSS. The result concluded that both profitability and solvability have a positive effect on firm value of food and beverage companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange. However, liquidity has a negative impact on firm value of food and beverage companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange. In contrast, firm size does not affect firm value of food and beverage companies listed on the Indonesia Stock period 2020-2023.
