PENGARUH MANAJEMEN PERSEDIAAN, KEBIJAKAN HUTANG, DAN LIKUIDITAS TERHADAP PROFITABILITAS

Abstract

This research examined the effect of supply management, debt policy, and liquidity on profitability. It was
quantitative. Moreover, the data collection technique used purposive sampling. In line with that, there was 22
samples from 34 Food and Baverages companies listed on Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) during 5 years (2018-
2022). Furthermore, the data source was obtained from the Gallery of Invesment Indonesia Stock Exchange. The
data analysis technique used multiple linear regression. The result indicated that: (a) supply management did not
affect profitability, whereas a higher of it caused loss as there was a lof of broken supply; (b) debt policy did not
affect profitability. The higher the companies earned their operational with very high debt, the value of the debt
policy would be greater; (c) liquidity had a positive effect on profitability. It happened as the companies fixed assets
could be used for their short-term operational activities and to fulfil the companies’ short-term operational needs.
