PENGARUH ESG DAN KEBIJAKAN DIVIDEN TERHADAP NILAI PERUSAHAAN YANG DIMODERASI KUALITAS AUDIT

Abstract

This research aimed to determine the effect of ESG and dividend policy on the firm value, with audit quality as a
moderating variable. ESG was measured by the company's ESG score that was proposed by the Indonesia Stock
Exchange (IDX), dividend policy was measured by Dividend Payout Ratio (DPR), firm value was measured by
Price Book Value (PBV), and audit quality was measured by KAP size. The research was quantitative. Moreover,
the population was companies that applied ESG in 2022 listed on IDX. The data collection technique used
purposive sampling. In line with that, there were 63 companies fulfilled as the sample. Furthermore, the data
analysis technique used multiple linear regression with SPSS (Statistical Product and Service Solution) 26
versions. The result showed that as follows: (1) ESG did not affect firm value, (2) dividend policy (DPR) had a
positive effect on firm value, (3) audit quality did not affect firm value, (4) audit quality could not moderate the
effect of ESG on firm value, and (5) audit quality could not moderate the effect of dividend policy (DPR) on firm
value.
