PENGARUH PROFITABILITAS, LEVERAGE, DAN CORPORATE SOCIAL RESPONSIBILITY TERHADAP NILAI PERUSAHAAN

Abstract

This research aimed to examine and get empirical evidence related to the effect of profitability which was a proxy with Return On Equity (ROE), leverage proxy which was a proxy with Debt to Equity Ratio (DER), and Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) on the firm value which a proxy with Tobins’Q. The research was quantitative. Moreover, the population was Coal Mining companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) during 2020-2022. The data collection technique used purposive sampling. In line with that, there were 12 companies as the sample.  Furthermore, the data were taken for 3 years (2020-2022) in total, 36 data sample were analyzed. Additionally, the data analysis technique used multiple linear regression with SPSS (Statistical Product and Service Solution) instrument. The result showed that profitability had a positive effect on the firm value of Coal Mining companies listed on IDX during 2020-2022. Likewise, leverage had a positive effect on the firm value of Coal Mining companies listed on IDX during 2020-2022. On the other hand, Corporate Social Responsibility had a negative effect on the firm value of Coal Mining companies listed on IDX during 2020-2022.
