PENGARUH PROFITABILITAS, LIKUIDITAS, SOLVABILITAS, DAN UKURAN PERUSAHAAN TERHADAP NILAI PERUSAHAAN

Abstract

This research aimed to examine the effect of profitability, liquidity, solvability, and firm size on firm value. The profitability was measured by Return On Assets, liquidity was measured by Current Ratio, Solvability was measured by Debt to Equity Ratio, firm size was measured by Ln firm size, and firm value was measured by Price to Book Value. The research was quantitative. Moreover, the population was Basic Industry and Chemicals companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange. The data collection technique used purposive sampling with some criteria given. In line with that, there were 22 companies as samples. Furthermore, the data were taken for 5 years (2018-2022). Therefore, 110 data samples were analyzed. Additionally, the data analysis technique used multiple linear regression with SPSS 25. Profitability with beta coefficient of 0.329 and a significance of 0.000 affected firm value. However, liquidity with beta coefficient of 0.089 and a significance of 0.479 did not affect firm value. In contrast, solvability with beta coefficient of 0.379 and a significance of 0.004 affected firm value. Likewise, firm size with beta coefficient of 0.559 and a significance of 0.000 affected firm value.
