PENGARUH PROFITABILITAS, UKURAN PERUSAHAAN DAN KEPUTUSAN INVESTASI TERHADAP NILAI PERUSAHAAN

Abstract

This research aimed to examine the effect of profitability, firm size, and investment decisions on firm value. Profitability was measured by ROA (Return On Asset), firm size was measured by Size, and investment decisions were measured by CAPBVA (Capital Expenditure to Book Value of Asset). The research was quantitative. The population was cosmetics and households listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange. Moreover, the data collection technique used purposive sampling with 3 criteria given. In line with that, there were 30 data samples from 6 cosmetics and household companies during 7 years (2015-2021). Furthermore, the data were secondary, in the form of financial statements. The instrument used documentation. Additionally, the data analysis technique used multiple linear regression with SPSS 25. The result concluded that profitability had a positive effect on firm value. Likewise, firm size had a positive effect on firm value. On the other hand, investment decisions did not affect firm value.
