Abstract

This research examined the effect of capital structure, profitability, liquidity, and firm size on firm value. Capital structure was measured by Debt Equity Ratio, profitability was measured by Return On Assets, liquidity was measured by Current Ratio, and firm size was measured by Size. The research was quantitative. The population was mining companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX). Moreover, the data collection technique used purposive sampling. In line with that, there were 22 mining companies as the sample. Furthermore, the data analysis technique used multiple linear regression. The result concluded that capital structure (DER) did not affect the firm value of mining companies listed on IDX. However, profitability (ROA) had a positive effect on the firm value of mining companies listed on IDX. In contrast, liquidity (CR) had a negative effect on firm value. Likewise, the firm value (Size) had a negative effect on the firm value of mining companies listed on IDX.
