PENGARUH PROFITABILITAS, LEVERAGE, PERTUMBUHAN PERUSAHAAN DAN UKURAN PERUSAHAAN TERHADAP NILAI PERUSAHAAN
Abstract
This research examined the effect of profitability, leverage, firm growth, and firm size on the firm value. The research was quantitative. Furthemore, the population was infrastructure companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX). The data collection technique used purposive sampling. In line with that, there were 36 companies as the sample; with 5 years of observation (2018-2022). Moreover, the data were secondary in the form of the infrastructure company’s financial statements during 2018-2022. Additionally, the data analysis technique used multiple linear regression. The result showed that : (a) profitability did not affect firm value, which meant that the fluctuation of the profit level obtained was not used as the main consideration in decision-making by the investors in investing their stocks; (b) leverage had a positive effect on firm value, which meant that the debt ratio considered to be able to generate sufficient cash flow to fulfill its debt obligationts; (c) firm growth did not affect firm value, which was assumed that there were factors such as increasing sales demand and sales expenses so that decreasing the profits that gained; (d) firm size did not affect firm value, which was assumed that lack of the company in assets management caused high profits could not be obtained during the period.
