PENGARUH PROFITABILITAS, LIKUIDITAS, DAN UKURAN PERUSAHAAN TERHADAP RETURN SAHAM
Abstract
This research examined the effect of profitability, liquidity, and firm size on stock return. The profitability was measured by return on equity, liquidity was measured by the current ratio, and firm size used size measurement. The research was quantitative. Moreover, the data collection technique used purposive sampling, in which the sample was based on certain information and population characteristics suitable to the researcher. The population was companies listed on the LQ-45 index. In line with that, there were 22 LQ-45 companies during 2019-2022. In total, 82 data samples were analyzed. Furthermore, the data were secondary in the form of financial statements and annual reports. The data analysis technique used multiple linear regression with SPSS (Statistical Product and Service Solution) 21. The result showed that profitability had a positive and significant effect on stock return. Likewise, liquidity had a positive and significant effect on stock return. On the other hand, firm size had an insignificant effect on stock return.
