PENGARUH PERTUMBUHAN EKONOMI, INDUSTRI DAN KINERJA KEUANGAN TERHADAP NILAI PERUSAHAAN

Abstract

This research is aimed to examine the influence of economic growth, industry, and financial performance to the firm value. Economic growth is proxy by inflation, gross domestic producy, and interest rates. The industry is proxy by dummy variable which is industry type. The financial performance is proxy by firm size and profitability through annual report of manufacturing companies which are listed in Indonesia Stock Exchange, whereas firm value is proxy by price to book value. Samples have been collected by using purposive sampling method on manufacturing companies which are listed in Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) in 2012-2015 periods and based on the predetermined criteria, 86 companies have been selected as samples. The analysis method has been carried out by using multiple linear regressions and the SPSS (Statistical Product and Service Solutions) application instrument. The result of the research shows that partially inflation, PDB, interest rates and industry do not give any influence to the firm value. Meanwhile, firm size and profitability give positive influence to the firm value. Simultaneously, independent variables give influence to dependent variable.
