ANALISIS VALUE FOR MONEY DALAM MENINGKATKAN MUTU PELAYANAN KANTOR POS
Abstract
This research was conducted at Kebon Rojo Post Office in the city of Surabaya. This research aimed to find out and analysed the implementation of public service system at service busness field at Post Office with the concept of value for money and also to find out whether how was the efforts of Kebon Rojo Post Office at city of Surabaya in dealing with obstacles in sending packages using the concept of value for money. This research was qualitative descriptive, while the research data collection techniques in this assessment were interview, observation, and documentation. Furthermore, the research data analysis techniques was carried out with the data reduction stage, the presentation stage, and the conclusion or verification stage. The research result indicated the concept of value for money which implemented the three elements which were economy, efficiency, and effectiveness which could give a positive effect on the public service quality at Kebon Rojo Post Office in the City of Surabaya. This can be seen from the data on the product sales and income of the Kebon Rojo Post Office City of Surabaya in the 2019-2020 period, which was growing rapidly from time to time.
