GOVERNANCE BAS MOBILE: INOVASI PT BPRS BAKTI ARTHA SEJAHTERA SAMPANG
Abstract
This research aimed to find out the policy implementation of governance of BAS Mobile at PT BPRS Bakti Artha Sejahtera, Sampang. Besides, it aimed also to find out the procedure of execution, registration, and transaction of BAS Mobile which was continued by the disclosure of governance in quality assurance on BAS Mobile implementation at PT BPRS Bakti Artha Sejahtera, Sampang. The research was descriptive-qualitative. Data were taken from interview results, observation, and documentation. Furthermore, the data analysis was done through data presentation, drawing conclusions, and verification. The result showed that PT BPRS Bakti Artha Sejahtera (BAS), Sampang had done service innovation of primary banking at PT BPRS Bakti Artha Sejahtera (BAS), Sampang; i.e. soft launching of customers’ mobile banking. The application was part of efforts in facilitating the customers and part of digital ecosystem development. In line with that, Bank Sampang would keep transforming from a traditional bank into a digital-based bank. They were checking balances, receiving transfers from other banks, buying credits, and electricity tokens, also paying PDAM. These banking transformations, through digital banking, were supported by Financial Services Authority since PT BPRS Bakti Artha Sejahtera (BAS), Sampang always strengthened its governance and risk management with information technology.
