ANALISIS IMPLEMENTASI SISTEM INFORMASI AKUNTANSI TERINTEGRASI PADA PT X DI SURABAYA

Abstract

This research was conducted at PT X in Surabaya. This research aimed to find out the the use of an accounting system using Microsoft Excel which was applied before the implementation of a software-based accounting system. This research was qualitative. Furthermore, this research used primary data i.e., a data taken by the researcher through an interview. Moreover, the research data collection technique used observation, interview, and documentation. This research used information based on the informant principle in this research with 2 people.
The research result showed that the readiness of PT X’s human resources for the accounting information system is adequate and of sufficient quality, due to the maximum training and selection. PT X previously implemented the accounting information system by microsoft excel for their financial statement also the sales transaction data, then the integration used software sites Journal.id therefore the notes would be easier and it would avoid the fraud happening. PT X experienced an increase in income every month after using the concept of implementing an accounting information system. The speed of processing at the company was increasing in handling cases, namely processing accounting information system data and processing fraud against the company, without tackling it for a long time.
