PENGARUH INTELLECTUAL CAPITAL TERHADAP NILAI PERUSAHAAN DENGAN KINERJA KEUANGAN SEBAGAI VARIABEL INTERVENING

Abstract

Established companies certainly have a goal, namely to increase the value of the company. The value contained in the company is determined by the success of the company's management in managing assets to generate profits. This research was conducted on manufacturing sector companies in Indonesia which were listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange in 2017-2021. In this study, financial performance acts as an intervention variable, to find out how much financial performance mediates the influence of Intellectual Capital with firm value. Firm value as the dependent variable does not change directly with the presence of Intellectual Capital owned, but the influence or change in value is achieved through financial performance as the intervening variable. Based on the research results intellectual capital has no effect on the company's financial performance, intellectual capital has no effect on firm value, financial performance has no effect on firm value, and financial performance is not able to mediate the relationship between intellectual capital and firm value. Data taken from 15 companies based on purposive sampling. The data analysis used is path analysis using SPSS version 25 software.
