KEPUTUSAN PENDANAAN MEMEDIASI PENGARUH PROFITABILITAS, FIRM SIZE TERHADAP NILAI PERUSAHAAN
Abstract
This study aims to examine the effect of profitability, firm size on firm value mediated by funding decisions on consumer goods companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange for the 2016-2020 period. This type of research with correlational research methods is to find or test the relationship between variables. The sampling method used purposive sampling method, based on the specified criteria, 31 companies in the consumer goods sector were obtained with a period of 5 years in order to obtain 155 observational data. The dependent variable in this study is firm value as measured by price book value. The independent variables in this study are profitability (ROA) and firm size (LnTA). Funding decision intervening variable (DER). Methods of data analysis using multiple regression analysis and path analysis (Path Analysis). The results of hypothesis testing indicate that profitability has a significant positive effect on funding decisions, firm size has a significant positive effect on funding decisions, and funding decisions have a significant positive effect on firm value. Profitability has a significant positive effect on firm value, firm size has a significant positive effect on firm value, funding decisions are able to mediate the relationship between profitability to firm value and funding decisions are able to mediate the relationship between firm size and firm value.
