SEBUAH PEMAHAMAN SYSTEM APPLICATION PRODUCT PEMBELIAN MELALUI FOCUS GROUP DISCUSSION PADA PT. X SURABAYA

Abstract

Purchasing is an important thing that should have special attention since it is the primary business activity in the company. A good accounting information system is supported by effective internal control and the right software usage is a combination to achieve effective purchasing. An effective purchasing is one of the things which can support the fulfillment of company’s goals. The purpose of this research is to gain comprehension of the implementation of System Application Product to the purchasing activity and its impact on PT X Surabaya. This research is a descriptive qualitative research type which uses Focus Group Discussion method, interview, and observation as the data collection technique. The result of Focus Group Discussion is interpreted with the data which has been obtained through observation so a conclusion about the result of the research is gained. The result of the research shows that System Application Product which has been implemented by the company has successfully give positive impact on the purchasing activity particularly and the company’s development in general. It has been proven by the fact of product inventory stability and the achievement of selling target.
