PENGARUH CORPORATE GOVERNANCE MECHANISM DAN FIRM SIZE TERHADAP KINERJA KEUANGAN

Abstract

This research aimed to examine the effect of Corporate Governance Mechanism and firm size on financial performance of Property and Real Estate companies. While the population was Property and Real Estate companies which were listed on Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) during 2017-2019. This research used a quantitative methods, while the research sample used purposive sampling technique with certain criteria. The research population used 58 companies, there were 157 Property and Real Estate companies as the research sample. More over, the data analysis technique used multiple linear regression with a software instrument of SPSS (Statistical Product And Service Solution) Versi 25. According to the research result, it concluded at Corporate Governance Mechanism which referred to managerial ownership did not affect financial performance of Property and Real Estate , concluded at Corporate Governance Mechanism which referred to institutional ownership did not affect financial performance, concluded at Corporate Governance Mechanism which referred to audit committee did not affect financial performance, and concluded at Corporate Governance Mechanism which referred to independent commissioner did not affect financial performance of Property and Real Estate companies which were listed on Indonesia Stock Exchange(IDX) during 2017-2019. On the other hand, firm size had a positive effect on financial performance of Property and Real Estate companies which were listed on Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) during 2017-2019.
