PENGARUH INTELLECTUAL CAPITAL DAN GOOD CORPORATE GOVERNANCE TERHADAP KINERJA KEUANGAN
Abstract
This study aims to determine the effect of intellectual capital and good corporate governance on the financial performance of food and beverage companies in the 2016-2020 period. The intellectual capital variable was measured using the VAIC, and the good corporate governance variable was measured using the size of the board of directors, audit committee, and independent commissioners. The dependent variable of financial performance is measured using Return On Assets (ROA). This type of research is quantitative research using secondary data and analyzed using multiple regression analysis. This research uses a purposive sampling technique with the object of food and beverage companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) in the 2016-2020 period. The number of samples obtained as many as 55 samples from 11 companies. Because the data used are not normally distributed, then the data outliers are carried out by removing 4 data so that the remaining 51 data will be used as samples. The data used is obtained from the consolidated financial statements. The results of the research show that intellectual capital has a positive effect on financial performance.
