PENGARUH STRUKTUR MODAL, PERTUMBUH PERUSAHAAN DAN UKURAN PERUSAHAAN TERHADAP NILAI PERUSAHAAN FOOD AND BEVERAGE YANG TERDAFTAR DI BEI
Abstract
This research aimed to examine the effect of capital structure, companies’ growth, and firm size on firm value of Food and Beverages companies which were listed on Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) during 2016-2020. The capital structure was measured by Debt Equity Ratio (DER), companies’ growth was measured by Growth, and firm size was measured by Size. Moreover, the data were secondary in the form of financial statements. The research was quantitative. The population was 42 Food and Beverages companies which were listed on Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) during 2016-2020. Furthermore, the data collection technique used purposive sampling. In line with that, there were 18 samples of companies with 5 years observation. In total, there were 90 data. Additionally, the data analysis technique used multiple linear regression with SPSS (Statistical Package for the Social Science) 26. The research result concluded that capital structure had a negative effect on firm value. On the other hand, companies’ growth had a positive effect on firm value. Likewise, firm size had a positive effect on the firm value of Food and Beverages companies which were listed on IDX during 2016-2020.
