PENGARUH INTELLECTUAL CAPITAL, UKURAN PERUSAHAAN DAN LEVERAGE TERHADAP NILAI PERUSAHAAN

Abstract

Since there is development in industry of 4.0, companies are encouraged to have innovation and develop its operation in order to be quick, accurate, effective and efficient. This make firm value becomes increased in investors’ point of view. Therefore, this research aimed to examine the effect of intellectual capital, firm size and leverage on firm value, while, intellectual capital was measured and leverage was measured by debt to asset ratio.The research was quantitative. Moreover the population was based-industry and chemical manufacturing companies which were listed on Indonesia stock Exchange (IDX). Furthermore, the data collection technique used purposive sampling, in which the sample was based on criteria given. Additionally, there were 72 sample from 18 companies during 2015-2018. In addition, the data analysis technique used multiple regression analysis with SPSS. The research result concluded intellectual capital had negative effect on firm value. On the other hand, firm size had positive effect on firm value. Likewise, leverage had positive effect on firm value.
