Abstract

Nowdays, in the globalization era which requires technology, the business world especially in Food and
Beverages manufacturing companies determine higher competition. As a consequence, the companies are are
encouraged to increase the quality of their products and its competitiveness. Moveover, as there is a high
numberof Indonesian population and increase of consumption, food and beverages busniess becomes a good
prospect. Therefore, this research aimed to find out examine the effect profitability, firm size and activities on
firm value of Food and Beverages companies which were listed on Indonesia Stock Exchange. The reseacrh was
quantitative. While, the population was Food and Beverages companies which were on Indonesia Stock Exchange
2015-2019. Futhermore, the data collection technique used purposive sampling. Additionally, the data were
secondary which in the form the companies financial statements. In addition, the data analysis technique used
multiple linear regression. The research result concluded profitability and activities had positive and significant
effect on firm value. On the other hand, firm size had negative and significant effect on firm value. Meanwhile,
form the result of determination coefficient which was about 0.475, it showed that 47.5% of firm value was
affected by profitability, firm size and activities.
