Abstract

This research animed to find out to performance’s evaluation of Puskesmas, though Balanced Scorecard. While, the population was Puskesmas Balongsari Surabaya. Moreover, the research used was descriptive-qualitative. Furthermore, the data were secondary with interview as the instrument. Additionally the research used to four perpective and the variables it used were economy, effectiveness and efficiency ratio. Meanwhile, on customers’ perspective it used number of visit, patient and data from Puskesmas message box became the indicators. In addition, from internal business process, it used indicators from Public Health Effort, Individual Health Effort and its management system and achievement. Beside, from growth and indicators learning perspective, it used quality and quantity of human resource and facilities owned by Puskesmas. Based on the result of performance evaluation of Puskesmas Balongsari with Balanced Scorecard, it showed good in general. In suggestion, in improving and maintaining the performance, Puskesmas Balongsari had to improve human resource’s quality, management system quality and facilities in order to create more optimal performance quality.
