PERSPEKTIF BALANCED SCORECARD SEBAGAI PENGUKURAN KINERJA ORGANISASI

Abstract

This research aimed to analyze and examine school’s performance by using Balanced Scorecard, as it focused on financial and non-financial element. Moreover it also suitable with public sector organization, i.e. school, which located at MDTA Tauhidullah Surabaya. While, the performance covered financial, customers, internal business, growth, and learning perspective. The research was qualitative, in which examined fact and happening situation during observation. Some techniques in data collection were used, such as: documentation, interview and questionnaires. The research result concluded as follows, 1) there was improvement in financial perspective as there was increase of income as well as efficient cost, 2) since each year there was improvement in new students’ registration and customers’ satisfaction based on questionnaires, it showed improvement in customers’ perspective, 3) from internal business perspective, it showed that had done some innovation in student affair, curriculum and facilities, 4) there was improvement in growth and learning perspective as there was increase of attitude and employees’ quality, in which reflected on employees’ satisfaction. In conclusion, Balanced Scorecard could be used as standardize of school success. Therefore, it needed commitment and cooperation from everyone within the school to have its success.
