PENGARUH IMPLEMENTASI PRINSIP – PRINSIP GOOD UNIVERSITY GOVERNANCE TERHADAP KINERJA PERGURUAN TINGGI

Abstract

The aim of Good University Governance is to provide accommodation for the internationalization of Higher Education, improve competitiveness, the quality of the learning process, the quality of internal management, and to achieve performance. With the existence of Good University Governance, it is expected that the performance of Higher Education will be better or increase. This research aimed to examine the effect of Good University Governance principles on university performance of Sepuluh Nopember Institute of Technology, Surabaya. The principles were included of Transparency, Accountability, Responsibility, Independence and Equity. The research was quantitative. While, the data collection technique used purposive sampling, in which the sample was based on criteria given. In line with, there were 80 civitas academica of Sepuluh Nopember Institute of Technology, Surabaya. Moreover, the data analysis technique used multiple linear regression with SPSS. The research result concluded Transparency had significant effect on university performance of Sepuluh Nopember Institute of Technology, Surabaya. Likewise, Accountability had significant effect on university performance of Sepuluh Nopember Institute of Technology, Surabaya. Similarly, Responsibility and Equity had significant effect on university performance of Sepuluh Nopember Institute of Technology, Surabaya. On the other hand, independency did not have significant effect on university performance of Sepuluh Nopember Institute of Technology, Surabaya.
