PENGARUH PREDIKSI KEBANGKRUTAN YANG DIHITUNG DENGAN ZSCORE DAN S-SCORE TERHADAP HARGA SAHAM PADA PERUSAHAAN FOOD AND BEVERAGE

Abstract

Company has its objective in earning some profits. While, in order to have the profits, company had to manage its
financial performance properly. Meanwhile, when financial performance was decreased continuously, it meant the
company had financial issue. Moreover, in order to predict financial performance, Altman Z-Score and Springate
S-Score were used. At this point, it is essentially for company since they could increase its capital. Therefore, the
research aimed to find out the effect of Altman Z-Score and Springate S-Score on stock price of Food and Beverages
companies. The research was descriptive-quantitative. Furthermore, the data collection technique used purposive
sampling, in which the sample was based on criteria given. Additionally, the data were secondary in form of 13
Food and Beverages companies’ financial statement which were listed on Indonesia Stock Exchage (IDX) during
4 years (2015-2018). In addition, the data analysis technique used multiple linear regression with SPSS. Based on
research result, Altman Z-Score did not affect stock price. On the other hand, Springate S-Score affected stock
price.
