PENGARUH KEMANDIRIAN, PERTUMBUHAN EKONOMI, JUMLAH PENDUDUK TERHADAP BELANJA MODAL PEMERINTAH DAERAH

Abstract

This research aimed to examine and analyze the effect of local independence, economic growth, and population on
capital expenditure policy of districts and cities in Gerbangkertosusila of East Java during 2013-2018. The
population was districts and cities in Gerbangkertosusila of East Java during 2013-2018. Moreover, the
instrument in data collection techniques using documentation. Furthermore, the data secondary which taken
from website of Regional Financial and Asset Management Agency and Central Statistics Agency. Additionall,
pre-requisite test for data analysis used normality test, multicollinearity test, autocorrelation test and
heterocedasticity test. In addition, hypothesis test used multiple linear regression with t-test, f-test, and
determination coefficient test. The research result concluded local independence had positive effect on capital
expenditure policy of districts and cities in Gerbangkertosusila of Java. On the other hand, economic growth did
not effect capital expenditure policy of districts and cities in Gerbangkertosusila of Java. In contrast, population
had positive effect on capital expenditure policy of districts and cities in Gerbangkertosusila of Java.
