PENGARUH UKURAN PERUSAHAAN, LEVERAGE, DAN KEPUTUSAN INVESTASI TERHADAP NILAI PERUSAHAAN
Abstract
The main purpose of a company is to achieve shareholder prosperity. This research was conducted with the aim to examine the effect of company size (SIZE), leverage (DER), and investment decision (CAPBVA) on firm value (PBV) on retail companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange in the period 2015-2018. The sampling technique and method used in this study were purposive sampling, with a population of research data of 18 companies in the retail sector with a total of 72 observations. This study uses data analysis methods with secondary data sources that are processed with SPSS 23 tools to perform multiple linear regression analysis tests. The test results of this study indicate that the value of the company can be explained by the variable company size (SIZE), leverage (DER), and investment decisions (CAPBVA) of 57.6% while 42.4% is explained by other variables. Company size (SIZE) has a negative and not significant effect on firm value with a significance value of 0.813. So the first hypothesis is rejected. Leverage (DER) and investment decisions (CAPBVA) have a significant positive effect on firm value with each significance value of 0.018 and 0.020, so that the second and third hypotheses in this study are accepted.
