PENGARUH PENGUNGKAPAN TANGGUNG JAWAB SOSIAL PERUSAHAAN TERHADAP NILAI PERUSAHAAN (Pada Perusahaan Perbankan yang Terdaftar di BEI Tahun 2014 – 2017)
Abstract
This research aimed to examine the effect of disclosure of corporate social responsibility on the firm value. While, the population was some banking companies which were listed on Indonesia Stock Exchange 2014-2017. Moreover, the data collection technique used purposive sampling. In line with, there were 24 companies with 4 years observation, as sample. The research was quantitative. Furthermore, the data were documents of financial statement and annual reports. Meanwhile, the data analysis technique used multiple linier regression which consist of normality test, multi-collinierity test, heteroscedasity test, and auto-correlation test. For the hypothesis test, it used F and T test. The research result concluded the disclosure of corporate social responsibility of economic dimensions had negative and significant effect on the firm value. It meant, the greater the disclosure of corporate social responsiblity of economic dimensions was, the lower investor interest of having investment in banking companies. On the other hand, the disclosure of corporate social responsibility of environmental dimensions had positive but insignificant effect on the firm value. In other words, the level of disclosure of corporate social responsibility of environmental dimensions did not affect the movement of shares in banking companies. However, the disclosure of corporate social responsibility of social dimensions had positive and significant effect on firm value. It meant, the more activities which carried out on the social dimensions, the higher the investors interest of having investment in banking companies.
