PENGARUH KINERJA KEUANGAN DAN KINERJA LINGKUNGAN TERHADAP NILAI PERUSAHAAN DENGANCORPORATE SOCIAL REPONSIBILITY SEBAGAI VARIABEL MODERASI

Abstract

This research aimed to examine and find out the empirical evidence of the effect of financial and environment
performance on the firm value with corporate social responsibility as moderating variable. While, the sample was
all companies wich were listed on Indonesia Stock Exchange 2014 – 2017. The research was quantitative.
Moreover, the data were secondary wich in the form of financial statement and company annual report.
Futhermore, the data collection technique used purposive sampling, in wich the sample was based on criteria
given. In line with, there were 100 samples from 25 companies which were listed on Indonesia Stock Exchange
2014-2017. In addition, the data analysis technique used Multiple Regression Analysis and Moderated
Regression Analysis.The research result concluded financial performance had affected the firm value as it was
supported with the higher profitability reflected its higher firm value. As consequence, ith had positive effect on
the firm shares. Meanwhile, the environment performance had affected the firm value. It happened since the
increase of company’s environment performance affected the firm image. This lead to the investors’ trust. In
brief, corporate social responsibility could not moderate the effect of financial and environment performance on
the firm value.
