PENERAPAN SUBSYSTEM PERSEDIAAN BAHAN BAKU UNTUK MENCAPAI STOCKLESS INVENTORY BAHAN BAKU

Abstract

This research aimed to find out the sub system application raw material inventory at PT Sanggar Sarana Baj. This can support and achieve stockless inventory and eliminate the raw material inventor. Thus, product efficiency and inventory cost efficiency can be achieved.This research was done in PT Sanggar Sarana Baja in relation to planning, manufacture, steel fbrication, supply, installation, service, remanufacturing, and product repair, equipmentand spare partsfor minning, oil and gas and general industry. This company used costing system in production activity. This company has workshop at Tanggerang located in Millenium Raya Street Block F-1 (Tigaraksa) Peusar, Panongan Tanggeran, Banten. While the analysis technique that been used in this research include several steps, namely (1) data analysis,(2) understand the implementation of inventory management, (3) processing the obtained data, and (4) Analyzing of influence of delivery theory in the research, and (5) the result of the discussion according to the problem formulation and make suggestions. As the result, this research found that the company has used stockless inventory method, but has blocked by monitoring the consumption of material that was still manual, resulting the fluctuations in material usage.
