PENGARUH KINERJA LINGKUNGAN TERHADAP NILAI PERUSAHAAN DENGAN PENGUNGKAPAN INFORMASI LINGKUNGAN SEBAGAI VARIABEL INTERVENING

Abstract

This research aimed to examine the effect of environment perfomance on the firm value with environment information disclosure as intervening variable. The population was food and beverages companies which were listed on Indonesia Stock Exchange 2013-2017. The data collection technique used purposive sampling, in which the sample was based on 3 criteria given. Those 3 criteria were as follow: (1) twenty of food and beverages companies which were listed on Indonesia Stock Exchange, (2) four companies in Indonesia Stock Exchange which dit not share their financial statement consecutively in 2013-2017, and (3) seven companies in Indonesia Stock Exchange Which did not share its Community Social Responsibility consecutively in 2013-2017. As the result, there were 7 samples of company per year or 35 firms year. The data analysis technique used path analysis with SPSS 20. For the research result, it concluded the environment perfomance had positive but insignificant effect on the firm value. Besides, the environment perfomance had positive significant effect on the disclosure of environment information. The disclosure of its environment information had positive and significant effect on the firm value. Environment perfomance did not have direct effect on the firm value. It affected through the disclosure of environment perfomance.
