PENGARUH LIKUIDITAS, PROFITABILITAS DAN TINGKAT INFLASI TERHADAP PERTUMBUHAN LABA PADA PERUSAHAAN SEKTOR PERBANKAN

Abstract

This research aimed to review the influence of liquidity, profitability ratio and inflation rate to the banking company private foreign exchange commercial bank which listed in Indonesia Stock Exchange during 2014-2016 period. The research samples were 22 banking companies listed in Indonesia Stock Exchange with total 66 observation. They were selected using purposive sampling. Moreover, the hypothesis test in this research used multiple regression linear analysis. The research results indicated that liquidity ratio applying quick ratio had not significant influence to the profit growth. This meant that less of liquidity could block the bank to get profits due to the current assets that could not be collected. Profitability ratio using return on assets (ROA) showed significant result to the profit growth. This meant that higher the bank return on assets (ROA) so as higher to earned the net profit. The inflation rate was indicated not significant results to the profit growth. It meant that up and down inflation cannot reduce the bank’s profit growth because it has resistance in facing the inflation.
