PENGARUH STRUKTUR AKTIVA, PROFITABILITAS DAN UKURAN PERUSAHAAN TERHADAP STRUKTUR MODAL

Abstract

This research aimed to examine the effect of aset structure, profitability, and firm size on the capital structure of insurance companies. While, the aset structure was measured by fixed aset ratio ( FAR), profitability was measured by Return On Aset (ROA) and firm size which was measured by natural logarithm. The population was insurance companies which were listed on Indonesia stock exchange, moreover, the data collection technique used purposive sampling. In line with, there were nine insurance financial service companies as sample which were listed on Indonesia stock exchange 2013-2017. Furthermore, the data analysis technique used multiple linier regression with SPSS (Statistical Package Social Sentences). The research result concluded profitability had affected the capital structure of insurance companies which were listed on Indonesia stock exchange. On the other hand, aset structure along with firm size did not effect the capital structure of insurance companies which were listed on Indonesia stock exchange.
