PENGARUH INVESTMENT OPPORTUNITY SET, PROFITABILITAS, DAN SUSTAINABILITY REPORTING TERHADAP NILAI PERUSAHAAN

Abstract

This research aimed to examine the effect of investment opportunity set (IOS), profitability, and sustainability report on the firm value. Investment opportunity set (IOS) is measured by using Market to Book Value of Equity (MBVE), profitability is measured by using ROE (Return on Equity), dan sustainability report is measured by using SRDI (Sustainability Report Disclosure Index), whereas firm value is measured by using PBV (Price to Book Value). While, the data was secondary which in the form of financial performance and sustainability report. The population was BUMN which were listed on Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) 2013-2017. Furthermore, the data collection technique used purposive sampling. In line with, there were 8 companies as sample with 5 years observation (2013-2017), Moreover, the observation data became 40 data. In addition, the data analysis technique used multiple linear refression with SPSS 20. Based on the result of multiple linear regressions analysis, it concluded investment opportunity set (IOS) had negative effect on the firm value. On the other hand, profitability had positive effect on the firm value. Meanwhile, sustainability report did not effect the firm value.
