Abstract

This research aimed to examine the effect of liquidity (CR), profitability (ROA), inflation, and exchange rate on stock price of banking companies which were listed on Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) during 2014-2019. The population was 43 banking companies which were listed on Indonesia Stock Exchange during 2014-2019. In order to have a homogeneous population, there were some criteria which needed to be fulfilled. Therefore, there were 5 companies which suited the criteria. Moreover, the research was quantitative with secondary data. Furthermore, the data analysis technique used multiple linear regression with SPSS 25. The research result concluded that liquidity which was referred to as current ratio (CR) had a negative and significant effect on stock price. On the other hand, profitability which was referred to as return on asset (ROA) had a positive and significant effect on stock price. In contrast, inflation had a negative and insignificant effect on stock price. On the contrary, exchange rate had a positive but insignificant effect on stock price.
