Abstract

This research aims to determine the influence of the earning per share, current ratio, net profit margin, and return on equity to the stock prices. The number of the population as many as 10 companies of food and beverages while the number of the samples that been used as many as seven food and beverages companies which is listed in the Indonesia Stock Exchange in 2012-2016 that has taken using purposive sampling method. The data used are secondary data that is the financial statements of food and beverages companies which is listed in the Indonesia Stock Exchange. The analytical method that been used is multiple linear regression analysis with using SPSS tool version 23. Independent variables are earning per share, current ratio, net profit margin, and return on equity. While the dependent variable is the stock price. The results showed that the assay of multicollinearity assay did not occur. Heteroskedasticity assumption testing showed that no heteroscedasticity. The t test of earning per share has a negative influence on the stock prices because of its significance is 0.270 (> 0.05). The t test of current ratio has a negative influence on the stock prices because of its significance of 0.381 (> 0.05). The net profit margin test has a positive influence on the stock price because of its significance of 0.003 (<0.05). The t test of return on equity has a positive influence on the stock prices because of its significance 0.012 (<0.05).
