Abstract

This research examined the effect of profitability, liquidity, and solvability on firm value. Profitability was measured by Return On Asset (ROA), liquidity was measured by Current Ratio (CR), and solvability was measured by Debt to Equity Ratio (DER). Moreover, the firm value was measured by Price Book Value (PBV). The research was quantitative. The population was Food and Beverage companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX). Furthermore, the data collection technique used purposive sampling. In line with that, there were 38 companies as the sample. The data were taken for 4 years (2019-2022). In total, there were 152 data samples. Additionally, the data analysis technique used multiple linear regression with SPSS 21. The result concluded that ROA had a positive and significant effect on firm value. However, CR had a negative but significant effect on firm value. In contrast, DER had a positive but insignificant effect on firm value.
