PENGARUH PROFITABILITAS, LEVERAGE DAN LIKUIDITAS TERHADAP FINANCIAL DISTRES PADA PERUSAHAAN MANUFAKTUR

Abstract

This research aimed to find out the effect of profitability, leverage, and liquidity on financial distress of manufacturing companies. The data were financial statements which were taken from the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX).The data were secondary. Moreover, the data collection technique used purposive sampling, in which the sample was based on the criteria given. The sample was manufacturing companies’ financial statements that were taken from IDX during 2021-2023. In total, there were 140 samples taken. However, only 90 financial statements were fulfilled as the criteria from 30 different manufacturing companies. Furthermore, the data analysis technique used multiple linear regression with SPSS (Statistical Product and Service Solution).The result showed that profitability had a positive effect on the financial distress of manufacturing companies that listed on IDX. Likewise, leverage had a positive effect on the financial distress of manufacturing companies that listed on IDX. Similarly, liquidity had a positive effect on the financial distress of manufacturing companies that listed on IDX.
