PENGARUH PROFITABILITAS, LEVERAGE, DAN TIME INTEREST EARNED TERHADAP NILAI PERUSAHAAN

Abstract

This research aimed to examine and find out the effect of probability, leverage, and time interest earned on the firm value. The independent variable was profitability measured by Return On Asset (ROA), Leverage was measured by Debt To Equity Ratio (DER), and Time Interest Earned (TIE), meanwhile the dependent variable was firm value was measured by Price To Book Value (PBV). The research type was comparative casual with the quantitative approach. The research sample collection method used a non-probability sample with a purposive sampling technique also using secondary data with determined criteria, it obtained 80 data from 16 companies in the sector of Heavy Construction and Civil Engineering field listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) from 2018-2022 period. Moreover, the research analysis technique used multiple linier regression analysis with the SPSS program. The research result showed that profitability had a negative and significant effect on the firm value, leverage had a negative and significant effect on the firm value, and time interest earned had a positive but insignificant effect on the firm value.
