PENGARUH PROFITABILITAS, LEVERAGE, DAN UKURAN PERUSAHAAN TERHADAP NILAI PERUSAHAAN

Abstract

This research aimed to examine some variables that influence the firm value. They were profitability, leverage, and firm size. Therefore, this research aimed to examine empirically the effect of profitability, leverage, and firm size on the firm value of Banking companies in Indonesia. The research was quantitative. Moreover, the population was 42 Banking companies which were observed in Indonesia during 2019-2021. The data collection technique used purposive sampling, in which the sample was based on the criteria given. In line with that, there were 26 companies that passed the criteria as the sample. Furthermore, the total sample during 3 years became 76 data samples. The data analysis technique used multiple linear regression analysis. The result showed that profitability had a negative effect on the firm value. On the other hand, the leverage had a positive effect on the firm value. Incontrast, firm size did not affect the firm value. In short, the effect between the independent variables on the dependent variable was 58.9%.
