PENGARUH INTELLECTUAL CAPITAL, UKURAN PERUSAHAAN, DAN PROFITABILITAS TERHADAP NILAI PERUSAHAAN PADA PERUSAHAAN PERBANKAN DI BEI PERIODE 2017-2020

Abstract

This study aims to find out and empirically test whether Intellectual Capital, company size, and profitability affect firm value. The independent variable, namely Intellectual Capital, is measured by VAIC™, company size is measured by the natural log (Ln) value, while profitability is measured by Return On Equity. For the dependent variable, namely the value of the company is measured by Tobin's Q. This type of research is quantitative. The population in this study are banking companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange during 2017-2020. In this study using a purposive sampling method, namely the selection of samples based on predetermined criteria. Based on the purposive sampling method, 72 samples were obtained from 18 banking companies and the data was taken from the Indonesian Stock Exchange website. The analytical method used is multiple linear regression analysis. The results of the study show that Intellectual Capital has a negative effect on firm value. However, company size has no effect on firm value. On the other hand, profitability has a positive effect on firm value.
