ANALISIS PENERAPAN SISTEM INFORMASI AKUNTANSI PADA KONSULTAN PAJAK PT AAA DI SURABAYA

Abstract

This research was conducted at PT AAA which engaged in a service company located in Surabaya. It aimed to find out the Accounting Information System owned by PT AAA. The research was qualitative. Moreover, the population was PT AAA with primary data. The data were taken directly from the source, which was gained through interviews. Furthermore, the respondents were employees of PT. AAA. Besides interviews, both observation and documentation were used as the instruments in the data collection technique. Additionally, there were 3 employees as the informant. The research result showed that PT AAA applied a Microsoft Excel-based system that makes it easier for employees to make journals, ledgers, and financial reports. Additionally, the development of the Accounting Information System was good since the company evaluated the system approximately once in three months. In addition, PT AAA added a server to support the information system for controlling and storing data owned by the company.
