ANALISIS SISTEM INFORMASI AKUNTANSI, GAYA KEPEMIMPINAN DAN PEMANFAATAN TEKNOLOGI INFORMASI PADA PT “X”

Abstract

This research aimed to find out accounting system information, leadership style, and utilization of information technology at PT.” X ”. The research was descriptive-qualitative. Moreover, the respondents were the head of the division, employees who were directed to financial statements and responsible for computers, software, and development of networking systems. The data were taken from observation, interviews, and documentation. According to the data analysis, the result showed that the accounting system information at PT. “ X” had run well. However, there was still a problem, such as networking and errors in data entry in financial statements. Furthermore, the leadership style which was implemented by the head of the division had been well-applied. However, it needed more communication skills in team coordination through indirect communication or social media. Consequently, a perception difference hampered the interaction between work units. Additionally, the utilization of information technology had run smoothly, in which all work unit divisions finished their work using information technology except the field division. However, there was a problem with server failure either networking or employees' skills in using information technology. In consequence, it affected the utilization optimally.
