PENGARUH HUTANG DAN PERPUTARAN PIUTANG TERHADAP PERTUMBUHAN LABA

Abstract

This research aimed to examine the effect of liquidity (CR), leverage (DER), and activity (RTO) on the profit growth of basic industry and chemical manufacturing companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX). The population was basic industry and chemical manufacturing companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) during 2017-2021 (5 years). Moreover, the data collection technique used purposive sampling with 4 criteria given. In line with that, there were 35 companies as the sample. In total, there were 175 data samples. Furthermore, the independent variables were liquidity, leverage, and activity. Meanwhile, the dependent variable was profit growth. The research was quantitative. Additionally, the data analysis technique used multiple linear regression with SPSS. The result concluded that liquidity (Current Ratio/CR) did not affect profit growth. In contrast leverage (Debt to Equity/DER) affected profit growth. Similarly, activity (Receivable Turnover Ratio/RTO) affected profit growth.
